Upcoming Events
October 11 - GOTV Canvass
We will be joining the Wake County Dems canvass, which is a great opportunity if you’re looking to gain experience. We’ll be talking to Democrats and left-leaning voters that don’t vote consistently in midterms and municipal elections. The conversations we’ll have won’t just help us win every municipal election this fall — we’ll also be laying the groundwork to send Roy Cooper to the US Senate and re-elect Anita Earls in 2026!
After the canvass, the Wake YDs will be heading to Aviator Brewing Tap House & Kitchen for a meetup.
9:30am | Fuquay-Varina
October 7 - Chapter Meeting
Meetings usually consist of socialization, department updates, and committee check-ins and may also include discussion on chapter business items or panels of guest speakers.
While the business side is important to keeping the chapter running, we aim to make our meetings a place to come and build community with each other!
6:30pm | Goodwin House
October 19 - Fall Festival
Join Democrats of every generation — Young Dems, Forever Young Dems, and everyone in between — for our first-ever Wake YD's "Forever Young Dems" Fall Festival! This family-friendly celebration is a chance to enjoy games, a prize raffle, and activities for all ages, connect with local leaders driving change in Wake County, celebrate the inaugural Forever Young Dem Award honoring a local leader who inspires the next generation.
12pm | Maywood Hall & Garden
October 26 - Wake YD Canvass
Come Knock Doors with Us!
We’re launching a Wake YD canvass in Fuquay-Varina to support key local races! With only about 1 in 8 voters turning out for municipal elections, every conversation matters. The Wake Dems have endorsed Bill Harris for Mayor and Bryan Haynes & Kristopher Vorren for Commission - and your help can make the difference.
